Are you looking for something to do and keep you occupied?

REGULAR VOLUNTEERS WANTED – to be part of our new Initiative (THE DIAMOND FLYERS VOLUNTEER GROUP) for our family oriented Howick Softball Club.

WE REALLY NEED SOME HELP! We just cannot operate without our amazing helpers. You will be part of a vital group to keep our awesome sports club going! We are looking for anyone willing to volunteer some of their time throughout the year, especially over the Summer months. 

If you're retired, have some spare time, enjoy time away from your spouse (we all do), and want an opportunity to give back to the community while hanging out with their friends, then this is perfect for you! And hey we can throw in a couple of trips to Bunnings or Mitre 10 too, for more supplies when we need them, for extra entertainment!

We are looking for a small group of happy, reliable and active people to be part of the Howick Softball Grounds People for the upcoming softball season. Whilst most duties will be diamond/field preparation/maintenance during the summer months, there will still be ongoing small amounts of maintenance throughout the winter months.

We would envisage start time to be around late September or prior, to learn the ropes! It’s okay, no actual climbing ropes, just
learning them! Also NO WORK during the whole Christmas holidays!  You don't need to worry about ruining your summer holiday! 

What is your reward? To see all the smiles on kids of all ages (and big kids) during the week and on Saturdays, knowing that you have made a massive difference in their lives by giving them opportunities to be active and participate in sport. You will be provided with a volunteer t-shirt, recognizing your membership in this wonderful new group we are setting up.

Our club is a large family club, and we pride ourselves on ensuring our facilities are tidy and looking good for all to enjoy down at Meadowlands Reserve, Meadowlands Drive, Howick. 

We have all the equipment needed! We just need volunteers like you to help us make it a great season for our players.

We are also looking for ANYONE, not just retirees, to be utilised in our kitchen on Friday evenings or Saturdays and for a few hours during the week helping with the stocking and supplies. Any other general volunteer help to assist our club would also be welcome. A small amount of time off season may also be needed, as and when required. If there is anyone in our
